"You know the food is good when you don't even sip your water." You also know the customer service is good when you are waiting for a table, but your food is already at the table ready for you by the time you sit down. Not to mention, I hadn't placed my order yet- it was all from memory of what I ordered a month prior. The only place I've encountered this is at Toyoda Sushi, located in North Seattle. Although I only eat avocado rolls and edamame, they're still the highest of quality. I always order the green tea or ginger flavored ice cream to top off my dinner (sounds gross, but they're great). If you're in the Seattle area, I highly recommend this place!
Hey guys,
Posting from Manhattan Beach, CA! Yesterday, my boyfriend and I drove up the coast to go to the Malibu Pier Farm Cafe (and so he could check out the surf of course, haha). The cafe is located at the very end of the pier, with a gorgeous view of the South Bay. The ingredients are all locally produced, and the meat is grass fed. I personally don't eat meat, but Charlie said his burger was exceptional. I ordered scrambled eggs with a side of broccoli-mashed potatoes. I also had an iced coffee with soy, served in a mason jar- bonus points to the cafe. The atmosphere and view from the Malibu Farm Cafe was amazing, and the food was above and beyond my standards. I can't wait to go back on our next trip up north and I highly recommend this cafe to anyone near Malibu! -Gretchen |
